Hi Joe & Carol, Thanks very much for another great holiday. Lots of high lights not all connected with the festival, First the BRILLIANT interview with Charley Pride, The Roys & Billy Yates with his big smile, Marty Stuarts late night Jam with Dolly.   The Bayou Swamp Tour, The Cornell Hurd Band,

at Blancos in Houston, The Bluegress at Flipnotics, Gary P Nunn at the Broken Spoke not forgetting Alabama coming on with Brad Paisley. Last but not least the singers in the bar on the last night.

Hi Joe & Carol,   Just to express my sincere thanks to you both for your efforts in organising this years Nashville and Texas trip. As usual everything was perfectly planned and no stone left unturned to ensure that all had a wonderful time. Nashville, as usual, was the main event although I am finding it more difficult to find my type of music there. However, the performances by Gene Watson, Rhonda Vincent, Billy Yates and Marty Stuart stood out. The station Inn was again buzzing with the music of the Time Jumpers.   New Orleans had an excellent Cajun club close to our hotel and Texas provided great Dance-hall and Bluegrass music with a fitting conclusion at the Broken Spoke Honky-Tonk in Austin, listening to the music of Gary P Nunn and his band.   What more could one ask from a trip and it was also very enjoyable travelling with such a group of friendly helpful people. Finally, a special word of thanks to our driver Pat, whose driving skills took the coach to places I didn't know it could reach.

Many thanks for persuading me to join you all for the second part of the holiday which I enjoyed immensely, with the love & support of you all, especially Pat & Ken (my escorts for the week) I was able to enjoy the wonderful music and dancing in Texas as well as all the other places we visited. The week ended with our Karaoke which was so dynamic it put all the lights out in the hotel !

Hi Joe and Carol. Thanks for another great Nashville tour! Once again your fantastic organising gave me just about everything I could have wanted from such a tour - great hotel, fantastic tickets, and hassle free transportation (and a big thanks to our wonderful driver Pat) !    I chose to travel over earlier this year to be in Nashville in time for The Time Jumpers at The Station Inn and I'm so glad I did. It was definitely THE event of the week for me and possibly the best country music show I've ever seen! And then you arranged for The Roys to come and play for us in the hotel the following morning. Well, what can I say? A truly superb welcome to Nashville!   Sadly the general line-up for the festival wasn't the best for those who favour more traditional country music but there was still a lot to see if you looked carefully, with the WSM acoustic stage in the Convention Centre offering the best selection. And it was interesting how often I met other members of the Joe Fish Country Tour party in there!!  Other highlights for me, in addition to those mentioned, were Gene Watson and Rhonda Vincent performing together, the Marty Stuart Jam, especially for the surprise appearance of the great Duane Eddy, and the chance to see Mel Tillis at the Midnight Jamboree.   Thanks again for a great trip!
