Val Hewitt & Gren Keates,

Eastwood, Nottingham:

"Thank you for a wonderful holiday

you gave us, we really enjoyed ourselves. We have never been on

a tour before so for us we did not know what to expect.  We could not have wished for more from you or Carol.   You have so much to organise and it seems to all fall into place,

and as for the people on the tour

they were really friendly we met some lovely people and made some great friends who we are keeping

in touch with.  Wherever you

go next year we would love to join

you.  Thank you both again for a

lovely holiday."

We witnessed many beautiful Sunsets

Ken Birkinshaw, Bamber Bridge, Preston:  Just a line to say thanks for another great holiday.   As always the hotel, arrangements etc. in Nashville were spot on.
The first week touring Utah and all the Canyons and Monument Valley etc. was superb with some breathtaking scenery.  For my 10th consecutive year, it couldn't be beaten.

Chris & Gill Turton, Stapleford, Nottingham:   We would like to thank you and Carol for another fantastic holiday. This was the fourth consecutive time and we can honestly say that it justs gets better and better. We enjoyed the whole three weeks, from leaving Southampton to the day before we came home. Particular highlights this year were the time spent in both Durango and Silverton and seeing Billy Yates in Tootsies; also the Marty Stuart show. Thank you both again and congratulations to Joe for his well deserved award. Here's to our fifth trip!!

Pat Hampton, Ossett, West Yorkshire:  I would like to take this opportunity to thank you both for the efforts you put into make the recent Utah/Nashville trip such a resounding success. As usual the organisation was superb and nothing was left to chance.   The first week in the Canyonlands of Utah and Colorado found us wandering through some of the most wonderful scenery I have ever encountered. Monument Valley was the highlight for me, with Silverton a close second.  Nashville holds a special magic for me although this time there were many highlights but sadly, a few disappointments.  The latter included the below par performance by George Jones at the Ryman on 14th June and the Puerile Pop and Bad Rock that seems to have been accepted, by the powers that be, as mainstream Country Music.   Still, good Country music could still be found and I witnessed many outstanding performances by the likes of Billy Yates, Tanya Tucker, Rhonda Vincent and Ricky Skaggs, to name just a few. The best performance I saw was by Daryle Singletary and his band at the Hard Rock Cafe stage. No frills, just good down to earth Country Music. By the way there is a Billy Yates song on Daryle's new CD. Would I go to Nashville again? Of course I would.

Colin & Maureen & Sabrina Hammond,Blettchley, Milton Keynes:   Many thanks again for a fantastic 2 weeks in the U.S.    The Utah trip was much more than we anticipated with the beauty of the scenery.   It was great to see a lot of people that we now refer to as "old friends"  when talking about the trip and meeting some new ones too.

Shiralee Ross & Mary Waring, Bangor, Northern Ireland:  Just wanted to say a big thank you for the great holiday Mary and I had with yourselves in Nashville     . It was both our first time at the CMA Festival. We enjoyed the concerts at the LP Field, The Riverfront but best of all seeing Alan Jackson live for the very first time on stage at the Cadillac Ranch. I had not heard of Jamey Johnston before but his song 'In Colour" was brilliant and I now have become a fan of his music.  The whole experience was truly great and I do hope that I will be on another of your

Tours soon.

John & Rita Williams, Buckley, Flintshire:  We apologise for not contacting you sooner to say thanks for another great time.  Especially thanks for your efforts
concerning the bathroom episode - it was much appreciated !!   We are very much interested in attending the CMA Fest next year and would also be interested in Pigeon Forge.

Shirley Taylor & Bob Donovan, Acton, Wrexham:  First of all many congratulations Joe on your award, well deserved.  Secondly we would like to thank both you & Carol once again for organising such a good trip to Nashville for Fanfair & for the whole two weeks we were there.  Its difficult to pick out any highlight as such but we enjoyed the singers/groups down by the riverside & by the Hard Rock Cafe as much as at the LP Field in the evening.  We look forward to receiving details of next years trip when all being well we'll see you again.

Kevin & Mary King, Dublin, Ireland: Just to say it was a great holiday in Canyon Lands & we loved Durango and Silverton.   We also loved fan fair which has changed for the better with plenty of country music  still to be heard in "Tootsie's", and At The Grand Ole Opry plus the other 4 or 5 Stages and LP Field.   We enjoyed Billy Yates and loved seeing George Jones again.  George is 78 this year and he is the Greatest Country Music singer ever.   Then there was: Paul Overstreet and Marty Stuart, Connie Smith & Tanya Tucker.   Thank you to Carol & Tony who were so helpful.

Kathie Knowles, Portishead, Bristol: Things have been very busy since I returned home so I have been very late in sending you this email thanking you both for making my holiday in Nashville very special. It was a brilliant week and everyone was very friendly and it was lovely meeting them.    I have made a huge scrap book of all the momentoes and boring everyone with tales of the holiday. The two weeks I had after I left you was also extremely successful and I managed to get round about 2500 miles in my hired van. I ended back in Nashville the night before I flew home.      I have received the details of next years holiday and if I can manage it I will, as it was a great time which I would love to repeat.

Gordon Peaple, Nailsworth, Glous: I would like add my thanks to all the others you have received since the Four Corner States visit and the 2 weeks in Nashville My highlights will always be the beauty and surprise of the snow on the pines In Colorado So much happened to the space of a week it was very difficult to recall but, it was as such the holiday of my lifetime.  The fun and the companionship of the other travellers was amazing which added so much to every thing !!

Then we came to Nashville my highlight was meeting Steve Wariner before the Opry "Classics" show. Before going out to Nashville his tribute album to Chet Atkins wasn't due to be released till the day we flew out of Nashville. Imagine my surprise when going into the Opry Shop he was there signing copies.  Not only did I get the album (got it signed) and as a bonus had a lovely chat with Steve Wariner.  Anyone who has had the pleasure of doing this will know what a lovely and great guy he is.   Also saw Dolly Parton who was in Nashville autographing and various stars!!
